JULY 2021. The second half of 2021 is expected to be a time of good news for our Ingenio San Isidro. Not only because of the great expectation that the recently inaugurated sugarcane harvest has already generated, but also because we will soon start the construction of a new Yeast Plant, which could be fully operational during the first quarter of 2022.
The project is aimed at processing a yeast cream that comes out of ethanol production. This new infrastructure will allow, through a washing and drying process, to obtain a yeast with a high protein level that can then be used for cattle feed in our own feedlots or as a product for export.
